Welcome to the WAS website

Wellington Astronomical Society is an incorporated society and registered charity for promoting astronomy in and around the Wellington region.

The December monthly meeting will be our end of year Christmas party.  It will be held at the Collegians Cricket Club, Anderson Park rather than our usual venue at Space Place.  More details can be found here and on our Facebook page.

Note there will be no regular monthly meeting in January.  Our next regular meeting will be held on the first Wednesday in February 7th of January.  Details will be available closer to this date.

A gentle reminder that our subscription year began in September, so WAS looks forward to receiving your subscription renewal if you haven’t done so already.
Renewal information can be found here.
