This page is for cameras and lenses for astro and sky imaging

This mirror is a security type, for retail use, and is coated on the underside, making it useless for projection work, but useful for a wide sky image camera. We may be able to deploy this to the south coast for a wide view of the southern sky.

Here is the view south from my friend Taupuhi's whare. We plan on relaying this view day and night to the web, so that we can identify auroral displays in progress
remotely, and save ourselves un-necessary travel.

The lense is a NIHON 'super wide macro' 0.42X attached to the front of my camera as a clip on to my fixed lense, (which is a 28-200mm equiv)
