• Pauatahanui Star Parties are held on the first Saturday of each month, weather permitting.
• Observing starts after dark. Contact John Field

• Duncan Hall will open the Gifford Observatory behind Wellington College. The observatory has a fine 130mm Zeiss-Rumsey-Nankivell refractor and a flat area should you want to bring your own telescope or binoculars.

Owing to the closure of the Carter observatory all children's and secondary schools astronomy clubs are cancelled. Secondary students are welcome to come to WAS meetings
