Come to the Wellington Waterfront and see close-up through our telescopes the areas on the Moon where the manned Moon landings took place.

Wellington Astronomical Society is celebrating Global Astronomy Month 2019, an event celebrated all over the world during April. The focus this year is Spirit of Apollo celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Moon landings.

Come and join in the Global Star Party which is celebrated on the same day by astronomical societies and organisations all around world.
