Upcoming Events

Saturn Lunar Occultation Starparty – Thursday 25th April, 8.00 pm onwards, venue to be advised.  Details here.

Known as “The Pope’s Astronomer,” Br Guy Consolmagno SJ will be delivering a free public lecture on the 7th May at the Notre Dame des Missions Performing Arts Centre, Sacred Heart College, Lower Hutt.  Further details here.

The RASNZ 2019 Conference will be held in New Plymouth 17 – 19 May and will be followed by the 13th Trans-Tasman Symposium on Occultations.  Further details here.



NASA has created posters featuring a group photo of the crew for all of the Space Station mission since 2000.   These posters were used to advertise expeditions and were also hung in NASA facilities.  Below is a typical example.
